We have moved to Chatham

In Autumn 2005, the VIC 56 moved to a new berth in Chatham Historic Dockyard, on the Medway from the previous berth at Trinity House Buoy wharf in London. It is intended that we will have a number of open days through the year. Due to the move, we are now on a much more visitor-friendly site, and whilst you are at Chatham there is a fascinating collection of historic vessels to see, from the Victorian sloop HMS Gannet through to the 1945 steam tug TID 164, a contempory of the VIC and also built for wartime harbour service.

To find your way to the dockyard site, please follow the details here, the VICs current berth is on the riverside by the ropery.
